I love remus lupin. He never does anything wrong (false, but I love him all the more for it bc I see myself in those imperfections and mistakes)

I just want to wrap him in a blanket and keep him safe from the world.

He's my favorite, the one I relate to. Who i see myself in-- not just bc chronic illness, pain, disability but I'll admit that drew me in so much.

Love of reading esp as escapism/coping mechanism.

The anger that he tries to hide until he can't. the self doubt, low self esteem, don't feel good enough, trust issues, can be self destructive, wanting academic or job validation. (When I did those things). Over thing. Fear of being alone. Not good at asking for or accepting help.

Needing alone time, other times craving company of specific people, pushing people away, sometimes when I need them most. Wanting to be alone when upset but also secretly want someone to follow me and sit with me. Likes physical touch but awkward about it and not good at asking for it. So awkward sometimes. Grumpy but tries so hard to be kind. Not great at expressing feelings, but feels things deeply.

Feeling like outsider, that not accepted by world bc who I am. (Only sometimes, I have my core, but even then doubt. But also reassured)

the mental health struggles. Anxiety, depression, self hate, spirals. Insomnia or sleeping too much

being a good listener but not sure how to comfort them, sarcasm, try to accept them as they are, try to take care of others, and adores Sirius Black.

Question to the marauders people: How do you figure out who you kin??

Because I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I feel like I kin Remus because I also like books, I'm bi, an introvert, I have daddy issues and I'm bad at emotions but that's pretty much it.

Should I just know who I kin or is there a secret way to find that out or something? I need help😭

Wes Intro Post

Hello! I wanted to make an intro post as I’m pretty active on here, and I’m hoping to make some friends!

I’m Wesley, I’m a lycanthrope/werewolf kin, as I’m sourced from Remus Lupin (especially All The Young Dudes, teenage era) and a couple other things! I’m not 100% Remus.

I sorta age-slide, always 15-19 though, I’m pretty tall, and I have loads of scars. I have a British accent, and I’m working on my American accent so I don’t out us irl everytime I’m out.

Self-Care is having your 4 year Remus kiniversary be yesterday and finally buying the Jan sweater you've been wanting for years today

Me when I kin Remus but look like Sirius (I'm not even kidding, I just look like a fem version of most of the Sirius art I have seen). The chilly weather has resulted in me just looking like Sirius wearing Remus' sweaters/jumpers and I'm not complaining
